I’ve been steadily working my way through The Naturals series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and this third installment turned up the stakes in the best way. Set against the glitzy but dangerous backdrop of Las Vegas, this book blends psychological profiling with high-stakes mystery. It kept me hooked from start to finish. In this spoiler-free review, I’ll share what I loved, what didn’t quite work, and why this series continues to deliver.

What I Loved
The Vegas setting brought such a fresh, dynamic energy to the series. All flashing lights and dark secrets hiding just below the surface. The mystery in this one? Easily on of the sharpest so far. I loved how methodical and layered the profiling was. Jennifer Lynn Barnes really leans into the psychology here. The eldest daughter in me felt very seen in the way the team dynamic pushes each character to balance loyalty, responsibility, and trust. Bonus: the emotional depth hit harder in this book. I loved peeling back new layers of the crew.

What I Didn’t Love
A few pacing dips pulled me out of the action, especially in the middle sections. There were also moments where I wanted more focus on certain character arcs. Still, these were small bumps in an otherwise strong ride.

Final Thoughts
All In explores risk, trust, and the fine line between instinct and recklessness. It digs into how ambition, fear, and vulnerability intersect when the stakes are life-or-death. At it’s heart, this book is about how far you’re willing to go and what pieces of yourself you risk losing when everything is on the line. It’s gritty, fast-paced, and surprisingly emotional.
